Yummy AND Gluten Free!
Usually the words “yummy” and “gluten free” aren’t necessary in the same description. While gluten free foods have made great strides in recent years, many gluten free breads in particular have tasted a lot like cardboard. If you’ve had any like that, you know what we mean.
This bread is truly yummy whether you are eating gluten free or not. It is made with lots of eggs and almond flour (which is naturally gluten free and just slightly sweet) so it is also a nearly carbohydrate free bread rich in protein as well.
There is no yeast involved in this recipe so if your a little afraid of trying a yeast bread recipe, fear not! This one is easy, quick, delicious AND gluten free and high in protein! It is good for small sandwiches or toasting with jam but if you’ve been around Two Chums for long, you know our favorite topping on everything is butter!
