Why Lavender?

Do you know all the things lavender can do for you? Read on.

Your local Trader Joes usually has lovely lavender plants as does Home Depot. When the flowers begin to die, cut the stems and tie them in bundles as in the photo above, or strip the stems of the drying petals and store them in mesh bags. They make wonderful sachets in the dresser drawers. Lavender can also be used in your bath water. The warm water releases it’s fragrance and enhances your relaxation. Look for some lavender next time your are at the market or your local Trader joes or Home Depot and breathe in and feel the calm.
