Trash/Treasure

As the saying goes “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”  Today’s post is truly about a “feel good” story that involves one man selling his “trash” and later learning that what was essentially worth very little to him turned out to be a real treasure to another man.  We saw this story on Instagram and felt it was worth sharing with our chums.  It was on Country Living Magazine’s page:

To Matt Shoukry who took the time to list his VCR on eBay instead of throwing it away, we say…Well Done!

You too just might have something lying around your home, or in your basement, or attic, or garage that you couldn’t imagine anyone needing or really wanting.  But who knows?  Before you just throw it out consider selling it on eBay or Letgo or donating it to your local Salvation Army or other Thrift store.  You could have some “trash” that will delight someone else and be their treasure.
