The Thanksgiving “Who”
As Thanksgiving approaches an important question arises. If I am giving thanks, to whom is that thanks directed?
We can sometimes easily recount those things or people in our lives we are thankful for, but who is the object of our gratitude?
This picture, and the message it conveys, is as they say, worth a thousand words. Your Two Chums believe strongly that there is a God who loves us as a loving father loves his children, and that all good gifts come from him. If you didn’t have a loving father this may be a stretch for you to believe.. We aren’t talking about religion here, we are speaking instead of relationship. This Thanksgiving season we would invite you to consider that whether you have an active relationship with God or not, He has blessed you in large and small ways everyday. As you “give thanks” this season, think about who God is and let your heart expect and receive more love, joy, and abundance than you could have humanly hoped for or imagined. He is a good good father and He cares for you. We think that is reason alone to give thanks.
