That’s My NAME!

Years ago when Robin and Randy took a trip to London they came home with so many wonderful goodies.  They had gone just before Christmas and so had done a lot of Christmas shopping whilst there.  

One of the many fun things they came home with was a gift for their first grand child, Jeremy, who had made his amazing entrance into the world just months prior to their going.  This gift was a book that they had found at the renowned toy store, Hamleys, on Regent Street.  This was not just any common or garden (an English phrase for “ordinary”) book;  this book had been totally tailored for Jeremy Preston Vann – made especially for him!  Throughout the book there were references to Jeremy and his parents and his grand parents, all by name, and all enjoying wonderful adventures together.

This book seemed like a fabulous idea to me and such a very lovely gift for a child.

I had not thought about this book for a long time until a couple of months ago when I was at a street fair near where I live.  As I was walking up and down the aisles, I saw this rather fun looking booth.  There were all sorts of childrens’ books and CD’s sitting on the counter of the booth and as I sauntered up and got closer, I realized that these books were just like the ones that Robin and Randy had found in London.  I was so excited and promptly ordered a book for each of my two youngest grandchildren.  I was not disappointed when they arrived – they are just the greatest and I did not have to travel to London to find them (although a little trip to London would never hurt!)

Not only do they have books but they also have musical CD’s that have whatever child’s name you choose scattered throughout.
