Comedy veteran Spike Milligan with his Lifetime Achievement Award at the 11th annual British Book Awards 1999, at the Hilton Hotel in London’s Park Lane. 30/12/2000: Milligan to be awarded an Honorary Knighthood in the Queen’s New Years Honours list.
