We cannot believe that we missed it but Monday was Princess Anne’s birthday. Princess Anne is Queen Elizabeth’s only daughter and although we do not hear much about her on this side of the ocean, she is very well known in England and Europe. 1908, 1948 and now 2012! These are the years that London has played genteel host to the Olympics and yes, by Jove, London is ready! There has been much question about whether she would be ready but, of course, in total British fashion, she IS ready to greet her guests and we have no doubt that it will be a wonderful few weeks.
