Sweet Celebration

A sweet and easy dessert for your Labor Day celebration.

This is an easy and delicious dessert. Yummy Brownie Torte. Brownies layered with chocolate whipped cream and topped with caramel sauce and crumbled toffee. The great thing about this dessert is that it is even better if made a day or even two ahead and allowed to sit in the refrigerator before you serve it. Give it a try. It will make your get together a sweet celebration for sure!

Brownie Torte

Use your favorite brownie recipe or brownie mix and bake in three 8″ cake pans. Allow to cool completely. While the brownies are cooling, make the whipped cream. Beat 2 cups of heavy cream with 1/3 cup of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa powdered and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Beat until the cream is stiffly beaten.

Layer cream in 1/3 amounts between layers and on top of cake. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with English toffee or crumbled Almond Roca. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
