She’s On It!

A little over a week ago Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II made history.  On a visit to the Science Museum to celebrate the opening of a new exhibit, “Top Secret”, about technology and covert intelligence, she chose the occasion to make her first Instagram post…and she did it herself!

While millions of people make Instagram posts all day long everyday, we dare say precious few of them are nearly 93 years old.  In fact many 93 year olds might not know what Instagram is, much less be making posts to it.  But this Queen is not your ordinary nearly 93 year old.  She is, by all measures, an extraordinary woman who has devoted her life to the service of her people and her country.  And while no one would fault her if she chose now to stay at home and enjoy her dogs, or knit, or do any one of a thousand things for herself, she instead is still out and about and living a rich full life of service.  So, Your Majesty, we say Well Done…A resounding and very heartfelt…WELL DONE!
