Savvy Secrets – Corn
Will there be corn on the cob in your weekend BBQ plans? We’ve got a great savvy secret for you today you’ll love!
If you love corn on the cob but hate cleaning the husk off and trying to get rid of the cornsilk before you cook the corn, try this. Cut off the stem end but leave the husk on.
Pop the corn in the microwave for 8 minutes if you want your corn fully cooked, or 4-5 minutes just to peel the corn and cook it on the grill or have another method you use to cook your corn. The microwave cooking steams out the corn, and the husk and cornsilk just slip right off when you push the corn out of the husk. Perfect corn every time!
Thank you @theboardhousewifepdx for this very Savvy Secret! Now here’s to very happy corn shucking and even happier corn eating 🙂
