Sadie’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Crackers

I came home from a trip to the market recently, to find these yummy treats that my 11 year old granddaughter, Sadie had whipped up on her own while I was gone.  ” What recipe did you use?”, I asked her.  “The one I just made up!”, was her answer 🙂 The recipe for these yummy chocolatey, peanut butter, graham cracker treats couldn’t be any easier.  Kind of makes you wonder “Why didn’t I think of that!?”

Graham crackers
1 cup Peanut butter
1/2 cup Powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
12 oz. pkg. Chocolate chips, melted

Place a layer or graham crackers in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.  Beat peanut butter, milk, vanilla and powdered sugar together, then spread evenly over graham crackers.  Top with another layer of graham crackers.  Spread melted chocolate over top layer of crackers.  Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.  Cut into square pieces and serve…..yummy!

Delicious chocolatey peanut butter goodness made by a creative young cook….tasty, sweet, abundant living!

And speaking of sweet….this sweet little one, my granddaughter, Evangeline Love turns 7 today.  If you visit Two Chums often, you have frequently seen her in our posts helping me in the kitchen and playing with her cousins.  She keeps us on our toes, keeps our lives brighter and our hearts full…she lives up to her name…she is indeed a Love 🙂

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, grandma Robin. But my question is this: why aren’t I ever in the neighborhood when such treats are being thought up & baked? I could move into the spare bedroom. Then I could taste all the yummy treats you post. And I could be a Dodger buddy for Randy at all the home games. Where do I sign up to be in your family?
