No Matter What Your Age, You Can Walk The Runway!
One would never think that an eighty-five year old woman would still be walking the runway but Carmen Dell’Orefice proved differently this week!
As part of Paris Fashion Week, Ms. Dell’Orefice regaled in a red wedding dress as the finale of the Guo Pei Spring Summer 2017 show.
Certainly, a nod to the Chinese bridal tradition, this amazing red dress with its giant collared cape and beaded details brought a wonderful end to a colorful show. Brides in China usually choose red as one of their wedding dresses (they change, often several times). It is a color of prosperity and love.
Well done, we say to Ms. Dell’Orefice. Well done!
