No Bake Oreo Truffles
These are for you to make and enjoy this weekend. Simple 3 ingredient delights. You’re welcome:-) You just absolutely can’t get easier than this and will be hard pressed to find something more yummy!
Oreo Truffles
1 pkg. Oreo Double stuff cookies, crushed
1 8 oz package cream cheese at room temperature
12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
sea salt (optional)
Crush the Oreos in a food processor (or by hand if you don’t have a food processor) until fine crumbs appear. Mix in the cream cheese and beat until well blended. Moisten your hands and roll the mixture into balls about the size of a walnut. You should end up with 36-40 balls. Place the cookie balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm them up. While they are in the freezer, melt the chocolate. Using a fork or two forks if you prefer, dip the cold balls into the melted chocolate to cover and place back on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt. Place them in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to firm up the chocolate.
They are ready now to be enjoyed. Happy sweet weekending 🙂
