New Surprises and Old Standbys

This weekend many of us will gather together with family and friends to celebrate Memorial Day. Your Two Chums believe strongly that this holiday should keep it’s significance as we honor and remember those who have given their lives in service to us and their country. Chances are as we talk about those who deserve our honor and respect it will happen over a gathering that includes a meal.Here are some new dish ideas for your Memorial Day gathering and some good ol’ standbys 🙂
Whatever you do this weekend to celebrate please do remember that this is not just an excuse for a party or BBQ, and it is not simply the kickoff to summer.

There are men and women who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice, and some who are serving now will give their very lives in the days ahead. We salute and honor them and no matter how we celebrate this weekend, we will not take lightly that they have most certainly given “their last full measure of devotion” to us and to this country. God bless them and their families and may God continue to bless America. We have so much to be grateful for, so much love, so much joy and certainly so very much abundance!
