New Cyphers
King Charles III and Queen Camilla have chosen their respective cyphers to be used on all official communication.
In each cypher the “C” stands for Charles and Camilla respectively. Charles has the added III to denote that he is indeed the third King Charles to sit on the throne of Great Britain. In each case the “R” denotes their royal standing with the “R” in Charles’ cypher standing for Rex which means King in Latin and in Camilla’s it stands for Regina which means Queen in Latin.

While they may have positions none of us will ever hold, they are in fact still also “regular people” as we are and as can be seen in the photo of them above. And though we may never hold a royal title, any of us can also have lovely stationary with our own monograms on them to personalize our written correspondence.
