Natural Pain Killer Smoothie

Food is obviously a source of enjoyment and nurture but sometimes it can be used to be even more.  If you have any sort of chronic or reoccurring pain from an injury you know it is no fun.  We came across a healthy and tasty option for helping to ease pain.  In the interest of full disclosure, we haven’t given this a try ourselves but have been told that it is a really good way to reduce the pain and inflammation from an injury.  Since it tastes good too and is full of healthy ingredients, there is no reason not to try it….whether you have any pain or not!

Natural Pain Killer

1/2 pineapple
2 ribs of celery
1/2 inch piece of peeled ginger root
Some ice and a bit of water

Blend all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and enjoy!
