Look Up From Your Phone
In an effort to live up to our mantra of love, joy and abundant living, we wanted to share this video that we think has some really good points to make for any of us who has a cell phone, tablet and/or computer….so basically ALL of us!
We found this short video convicting and at the same time very encouraging. We all have people in our lives we need to connect with in person, by voice over the phone, or in a handwritten note or letter. How we will treasure those words spoken or written by loved ones when they are gone. We were designed to need and care for each other …not through social media…but up close and personal. Tell someone today what they mean to you and ask them how they are doing and then wait for them to tell you. Real connection adds to lives of love, joy and so much abundance!

WOW! UFFDA! This was an amazing video! It speaks so much of how I feel. How often to I see couples sitting across from one another in a restaurant who are both plugging away on their phones, looking or texting at something on their phones and never have eye contact nor a word with one another. How sad.
Let Dennis Page be our motto for thoughtful living! He knows the art of communication without the gadgets. But the gadgets can be very helpful many times, like when you’re meeting someone at LAX.
