Looking back over the years of all the gifts our children have made or bought for us, without question it is the cards and notes, the sweet words of love and affirmation that mean the very most.

It will be like a journal of love and one day, maybe many years from now, they will make you smile all over again and warm your heart with the sweet memories they bring to mind. A dear chum once told us that memories are the feathers in our nests that keep us warm and make us cozy when we get to an age where we are too old to fly.
