Laughter Is The Best Medicine
We have heard that laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxes for up to 45 minutes after. So, here are some quotes from Sir Winston Churchill who had a great sense of humor:
“If you are going through hell, keep going.”
“A lady came up to me one day and said ‘Sir! You are drunk’, to which I replied ‘I am drunk today madam, and tomorrow I shall be sober but you will still be ugly.”
“Tact is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.”
“A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject.”
“In those days he was wiser than he is now – he used frequently to take my advice.”
“A politician needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn’t happen.”
“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”
“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.”
“A prisoner of war is a man who tries to kill you and fails, then asks you not to kill him.”
“Personally, I’m always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught.”
Thank you, Sir Winston! You certainly have added joy to our lives!

What a man, and such tremendous things he brought us through in the World War and continues to teach us. I wish I had known him.
Us too!
