Last Minute Appetizer
The holidays are upon us and one of the fun aspects is the company we have. Maybe more than any other time of the year we have friends or family in our homes. Sometimes we are expecting them and sometimes they just drop in 🙂 You can have this tasty dish as an appetizer or a snack, and with a glass of wine or some sparkling juice or cider, it is ready in seconds when company comes to call. It is lovely to offer up some true hospitality with a bite of something yummy to your guests whether you were expecting them or not. Because it’s the loved ones in our lives who help us celebrate this special time of year and are the true gifts of the season.
Pepper Jam Cheese and Crackers
8 oz package of cream cheese
A jar of Pepper Jam, Jelly or Preserves (there are a number of good brands)
Butter Crackers or Ritz
Open a package of cream cheese and top with pepper jam. Serve with rich butter crackers or Ritz
