King of Pop

It is hard to believe but it was nine years ago today that Michael Jackson, the “King of Pop” passed on.

It left us all rather sad and somewhat speechless!  He was a very talented person, in fact he is said to be the most awarded artist.  With 23 Guinness World Records, 40 Billboard Awards, 13 Grammys, and 26 American Music Awards, he tops the list!

His album, Thriller, is the best selling album of all time, selling around 65 million copies!

What a darling little boy he was and his talent was amazing!  It was fun to watch the littlest of the Jackson Five performing.

Life took Michael Jackson down many roads, to be sure, some of them, seemingly, not so great but the fact that the man was incredibly talented was never a question.  He was truly amazing and, perhaps, a little misunderstood.

We celebrate Michael Jackson today.  His music lives on and the “moonwalk” will never be forgotten!
