JOY to the World!

As these precious days flow on, let’s be sure to remember why we celebrate Christmas and the true meaning.

We posted last week about Santa and what happens when the believing youngsters all of a sudden realize that there is no person called “Santa” who rides through the sky with a sleigh full of toys of all sizes and colors.

But we do beg to differ.

The Spirit of Christmas is definitely what we celebrate and what Jesus came to show us – the Spirit of Love and kindness and gentleness and goodness and generosity and the list goes on and on and on.

Sometimes it is easy to lose sight of those qualities as we are busied in all of the things that we feel need to be done but bring them back into view! THEY are the important things! THEY are the things we are celebrating so be sure to embody them. Not only for the people with whom you come into contact but for yourself! It is much more fun to love, to give joy, to smile, to laugh than the alternative.

It is up to us to BE the qualities that make up that wonderful gentleman, Santa!
