Happy Birthday, Three-Year Old

This past Friday marked the third birthday of the lovable Prince George.

The photographs above are ones that were taken when his Mummy and Daddy took him to the International Air Tattoo and he was able to sit in helicopters and airplanes.  He apparently loved it.

We are told that Prince George was celebrated this past weekend at their country home, Amner Hall.  His parents prefer being in the country with the children and that is where Prince George started Nursery School.  This is a photo from his first day of going to school.

The palace released some special photos for Prince George’s third birthday.  In the past, his Mummy, the Duchess of Cambridge, has taken his “birthday photographs” but this year they opted to have a professional photog take them.  We think you will agree, they are quite adorable!

In this last one, his dog, Lupo, is getting a treat!

When asked whether his son Prince George knows what lays ahead of him in terms of responsibility, Prince William, his father, said that Prince George has no idea.  His parents want him to be able to enjoy his childhood without feeling the burden of the future.  We have no doubt that this is how Prince William’s mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, brought him up.

Joy, such sweet joy!

As we said, Prince George’s birthday was last Friday but there is a VERY important birthday being celebrated today. That of my darling Chum, Robin!

Certainly, it does not take a birthday for me to celebrate this amazing lady. Each and every day I celebrate her and feel such gratitude for her presence in my and our family’s lives. Indeed, her middle name could be “Abundance”. Everything she does, she does with abundant love. You do not have to know her for very long to know that she is made up of wonderful qualities – love, grace, warmth, generosity, graciousness, inclusiveness, joy, and the list goes on and goes on.
