Hair Dryer Savvy Secrets
Holy smokes! Look at what Bob Vila of Yahoo has shared! All of the ways we can use our hair dryer (beyond the obvious).
- Give your basket of goodies for friends or family that extra-special touch by wrapping the basket with cellophane and blow-drying it. The cellophane will shrink to fit around the basket, leaving you with an impressively polished finished product.

2. Your key board is no different than anything else. It needs a good cleaning every so often. Just put your hair dryer on high and blow that dust away!

3. Shoes or boots too tight? Simply dampen then where they are tight, put them on and blast the hot hair dryer on them for a few minutes where the tightness is. Leave them on until they cool to set the stretch.

4. Need to thaw something really quickly and do not have the use of a microwave oven? Blast a hot hair dryer on the item!

5. Do you find yourself with crayon marks on your walls? Not a problem. Hit the marks with a hot hair dryer until the crayon starts to melt. Then scrub with an all purpose cleaner.

6. Just bought new wine glasses and do not want to spend 20 minutes peeling the price tags off of the bottom? Blast them with a hot hair dryer and you will be surprised at how quickly they come off!

7. Old photos stuck together? Simply put the heat from the hair dryer on the photos and there you have them!

8. Oh golly! It is the time of year to get frozen pipes. If this happens, put the hair dryer on the wall near the pipe or directly onto the pipe and it will help to get things running smoothly again.

9. Nothing more romantic than candlelight but, oh dear, some wax dripped on your wonderful table! Not a problem! The heat form the hair dryer will moisten and slightly melt the wax making it much easier to clean off.
