Don’t Forget The Gold and Silver

Oh golly!  It is that time of the year again!  We know we have mentioned this before but this bears repeating!

Don’t forget the gold and silver spray paint!

If you are looking to do something a little extra this year in your decorating, a can of gold and a can of silver spray paint, some glitter, a few branches, acorns, pinecones and pretty leaves will do the trick.

If you have not done this before, you will be amazed at how much it will make your home like something very special is going on.

Go outside and gather twigs – long ones, short ones, and in-between ones.  Spray some of them gold and some silver and spray some glue on them once they are dried.  Sprinkle sparkles on the glue and you end up with a very festive looking arrangement.  The same goes for your pine cones, acorns and dried leaves.  A mantle can be transformed with these additions and will look like a magical fairy land.

Celebrate – go a little OTT (over the top).  Your guests will love it and you will enjoy living in this atmosphere for the month of the holidays.
