Cookies And Cream For Dad

Everyone loves ice-cream and who doesn’t love a good cookie?  So put them together and any Dad you might be celebrating this weekend is bound to feel loved.  And you will LOVE making this very simple ice cream…just three ingredients and you are on your way to creamy deliciousness 🙂 You honestly can’t make a simpler ice cream than this one…or one that tastes more yummy.  It will work in any ice cream making machine or if you don’t happen to have one, stir the ingredients together and pour into a shallow baking dish.  Freeze until it is just beginning to freeze and then stir to break up any crystals that might be forming.  Allow to freeze until it is harder and remove and place in a covered container.  Keep frozen until ready to eat.

Add these delicious Lemon Butter Cookies or Dad’s favorite cookie along with the ice cream and have a sweet celebration of Dad!

Luscious Lemon Ice Cream

1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 pint heavy cream
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon rind (optional)

Mix ingredients together and freeze as directed by your ice cream freezer or use method explained above if you do not have an ice cream freezer.
