Columbus Day or Thanksgiving?
In some parts of the world, it is both!
In Canada, families and friends are sitting around their dining room tables, enjoying a Thanksgiving turkey and giving thanks! In The United States, a lot of people are celebrating a holiday today because today commemorates Christopher Columbus, who over five hundred years ago discovered the New World. We have written fairly extensively about Columbus through the years but what comes immediately to mind about Christopher Columbus is that he, against all odds, went ahead with what he “knew”. He could do nothing else. He KNEW that he would find something, he KNEW that he would not float over the “flat” world and never be seen again! What an amazing fellow! For him, we give heartfelt thanks! If it weren’t for him, we might still be concerned about falling off!
A lesson for all of us is found here. When we “know” something, we must follow that knowing. Chances are, something good will come.
Joy, yes, more joy, more love and more abundance.
