Charles At 70
Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales and the future King of England, has reached a landmark birthday and the BBC has made a wonderful documentary commemorating the event. This lovely piece aired this past weekend on PBS here in the States and is scheduled to air again this weekend. In it Princes William and Harry, along with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall and wife of Prince Charles, speak lovingly and candidly about this man who will one day wear the crown.
And Charles himself speaks openly about those things near and dear to his heart. We get a glimpse of his life, his loves and his passions. We see a softer side of Charles than the one that is often portrayed. This was a thoroughly delightful hour we think you, our chums, would truly enjoy. And keep an ear out for the name the Vanuatu tribe in the British island of Dominica has for the Prince…very sweet and quite charming.
Check your local listing for the times it will air this weekend on PBS. Make a cup of tea, turn on the telly and enjoy!
