Brownies – A Twist
Well really a double twist…these brownies are both gluten free and flavored with Nutella!
Thank you JessieSheehanBakes.com for the basic recipe. We modified it to make it gluten free but you can feel free to use any all purpose flour you like.
Nutella Gluten Free Brownies
1 1/2 cups Nutella
2 eggs
1 scant teaspoon salt
1/2 cup gluten free flour…our preference is Cup4Cup
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Cut 2 pieces of parchment paper to fit an 8″ square pan Place in the pan so that they overlap each one going a different direction. Allow the ends of the parchment paper to extend over the sides of the pan to allow you to pick up the paper and remove the brownies once they are cooked. Spread a very thin coat of butter over the parchment paper and any exposed sides of the pan.
Put the Nutella, the eggs and salt in a bowl and mix together with a wire whisk. Beat the mixture until smooth. Fold in the flour gently, just until the last streaks of flour disappear.
Place the batter in a the prepared pan and bake for 22-25 minutes, rotating the pan at the half way point. Cook until the top is crackly and slightly puffed and a toothpick instead in the center comes out clean.
Allow the brownies to cool to room temperature in the pan before you lift them out with the parchment paper.
Cut into squares and….yum! need we say more?
