At The Center
Do we have an amazing centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table for you?
Yes, we do and we think it is probably fairly easy to put together.
Here it is, courtesy of our chum, Neery Ourfalian Gharibian:
As we said, we think it is fairly easily put together.
You will need:
about 26 beautiful pomegranates (as shown) or persimmons. You might want to rub them a bit with gold paint that you have put onto a piece of cheesecloth.
A large footed cake plate for the bottom.
A smaller footed cake plate for the next tier.
A really small footed cake plate for the top tier.
If you do not have footed cake plates, you could really do this with simple plates. The fruit will hold the next layer in place.
Red berries that you can probably pick up at Michaels or the Dollar store. If you know where you can get real ones, even better.
And NOW, just put it all together. Start with the bottom footed cake plate and go from there.
What a statement this will make on your table!
Joy and love all wrapped up in gratitude – what could be better?

Beautiful, but those are pomegranates, not persimmons.
You are so right, Lara, as always. You can do it with either.
