And what might we mean by THAT?!

Back when there were wicks keeping lighthouse lamps lit, they needed to be trimmed and maintained, which earned lighthouse keepers the nickname “wickies.”

Wickies also made sure there was plenty of fuel for the lighthouse, wound the clocks, and performed other maintenance.

Today, all lighthouses in the U.S. are automated, except for Boston Lighthouse, the country’s oldest station.

So, always let your light shine – to your Two Chums, that is being a Wickie!
