All Dressed Up

Last night, in addition to honoring the best films of the year, it was Hollywood’s night to show off their fashion statements too. Here are just some of the gowns from the evening.

Which is your favorite?

Our favorite part of the evening had nothing to do with fashion. It was two trends. One was that we saw those receiving awards being quick to show gratitude to their parents for encouraging them, or teaching them the power of storytelling, or just being their heroes. And the second trend was a more positive overall attitude by calling for us all to look to the things that united rather than divide us, to just be kinder to one another overall. That was a happy and welcome surprise.

Let’s all keep those attitudes going and be grateful, be quicker to see the things that unite us, be more positive, and certainly let’s all work at being kinder. Happy Monday!
