A Tip For Celebrating Our Veterans
Whatever you have planned today…
take at least a moment to remember and thank those who have served this country on our behalf. Living or gone on, wounded or in one piece, all who have served have given a piece of themselves and made the sacrifice to serve the country they love and people they will never meet or know.
We think that is good cause on this one day a year to give them our respect and a show of our appreciation. We “tip” wait staff in restaurants and maid service in hotels and valets who bring us our cars, so saying “thank you” is the smallest of “tip” that we can give those who sacrificed on our behalf.
So no matter what else you may have going on, and we know everyone has full and busy lives, call someone you know who served his or her country and tell them “thank you”. They more than likely won’t expect that call but recognition for service and a job well done is always a gift to the one receiving and the one who is giving thanks.
To all those who have served, your Two Chums say, “Well done and thank you!!”
