A Rather Beautiful Monday
Do you know what these are?
According to Sweet Paul Magazine:
Wilson A. Bentley spent much of his career photographing snowflakes in snowy Jerico, Vermont. Frustrated with attempting to draw snowflakes, he attached a bellows camera to his microscope and, starting in 1885, became a pioneer in photomicrography. His images of snowflakes placed on lush black velvet are not only beautiful but demonstrate that no two snowflakes are exactly alike. National Geographic featured these images in 1904 and 1923.
Isn’t it amazing that each and every snowflake is different, individual and absolutely stunning in its own right? Rather like people when you look “througha microcope” and deep inside!
Your Two Chums are touched by the purity of these snowflakes!
