A Confetti Celebration

It’s the weekend…. and the Oscars.  And if those are not reasons enough, you may have any number of other reasons to celebrate.  If you do, we’ve got something fun we know you’ll enjoy!  These cupcakes couldn’t be easier, and they are really tasty too.  And the fact that the confetti won’t make a mess,  is a great bonus!  It will just make these even more fun to eat.  Give these a try and if nothing else, celebrate life 🙂

Confetti Cupcakes

Your favorite white cake batter or a white cake mix
1 bottle of rainbow sprinkles
1 recipe of buttercream frosting

Mix up the cake batter as directed.  Stir in 1/2 bottle of rainbow sprinkles.  Using a small ice cream scoop to keep the amount of batter consistent, fill cupcake pans.  Bake for 16-20 minutes depending on the size of the cupcake tin.  Smaller cupcakes take less time than larger ones.

Remove from pan when slightly cooled and allow to cool completely.  Pipe frosting on cupcakes and immediately add remaining sprinkles.  Now let the fun and celebration begin!
