What’s For Dinner? – Sweet Hawaiian Chicken
If you are like many of us, you have at one time or another stood in your kitchen, looked a package of chicken and thought, “What can I make for dinner that isn’t the same old tired chicken?” Well, we’ve got an easy and delicious answer for you!With just a few simple ingredients and a crockpot or slow cooker, you can make a dinner your whole family will love. Having an easy and homemade meal together…we call that abundant living!
SWEET HAWAIIAN CROCK-POT CHICKEN
2 lb. chicken breast, cut into chunks
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce
Combine all the ingredients together, cook on low in your crock-pot* for 6-8 hours, that’s it! Serve with rice and you have an easy and delicious meal!
* Don’t have a crockpot or slow cooker? No problem. Simply put all the ingredients in a dutch oven with the lid on it and cook on the stove top on the lowest possible flame. Cook for 4-6 hours, checking chicken after about 4 hours as it will cook more quickly this way.
