The Best Medicine Of All

This photo is of my mother who is 90 years old, tiny to be sure, and generally very dignified but she still knows how to play. At the request of my granddaughter, (her great granddaughter), she put on my little granddaughter’s princess costume and it fit! She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and burst into peels of laughter. Immediately, we all burst out laughing as well. What a classic moment!

Doesn’t matter who you are, it is always important to be able to laugh at yourself when you accidentally do something funny or if someone catches you in an unintended funny pose while taking a photo. This photo is an example of that. We have another one to share as well. It too is a doozy!

Wouldn’t we just love to know what was going on here! This photo was posted on Instagram by a Royal watcher. Charles and Camilla seem to have a great sense of humor, so we would suppose, while they aren’t looking so dignified or “Royal” in this pic, they too would have a laugh at the photo. Just goes to show, it doesn’t really matter if you are a Prince and future King, a Duchess, or a 90 year old great grandmother in a princess dress, ANYONE can have a moment that is chuckle worthy. Be sure when it happens to you, you are the first to laugh. Remember, if you laugh first, no one can laugh AT you, they can only laugh WITH you!

Keep a light heart and a willing laugh handy. If laughter is the best medicine, then laughing at yourself must be the very best medicine of all 🙂
